01 — The role

Why this role exists at EduRankAI

Own EduRankAI's entire social-impact arc. CSR, ESG reporting, DEI, community programmes, sustainability, public reporting. The Chief CSR Officer reports directly to the Founder's Office and is the senior-most person responsible for whether the public-good claims we make are true. This role exists because the temptation to dilute the impact agenda for quarterly growth is constant, and someone with the authority and the temperament to push back has to own it. You are the conscience of the company and the public credibility of the company in one role. You'll thrive here if: you have spent a career arguing for measurable impact over impact theatre, you can hold a board view and a community view in the same conversation, and you would rather kill a programme than lie about its outcomes. You'll struggle here if: you measure CSR by spend, not effect. You want to outsource integrity to a consulting deck.

02 — The work

What you will own

  • 01 Own the multi-year CSR + ESG strategy across the whole company; defend it quarterly against drift.
  • 02 Lead all statutory CSR compliance (Companies Act §135 once applicable) and BRSR / GRI / TCFD disclosures end-to-end.
  • 03 Own external ESG ratings and the annual ESG / sustainability report — audit-grade, no rounding errors.
  • 04 Hire the impact + sustainability org: Director-level direct reports across reporting, programmes, sustainability, DEI.
  • 05 Set the DEI strategy and own the public DEI dashboard.
  • 06 Represent EduRankAI publicly at industry, government, regulator, and donor forums.
  • 07 Defend the impact agenda against short-term commercial pressure — including when the founder is the one applying it.

04 — The bar

Who thrives here

  • You have led a CSR or impact org of at least 20 people for at least 5 years.
  • You have authored or led the BRSR / GRI / ESG report for a company that was independently audited and survived.
  • You have killed a CSR programme on purpose because the evidence did not support its claims, and written about why.
  • You can defend an impact claim to a hostile regulator for an hour.
  • You have public credibility — at least one op-ed, talk, or named programme that the field recognises.
