01 — The role
Why this role exists at EduRankAI
Own the entire hardware arc — the custom devices behind AquinTutor (holographic display) and Karate.support (training/measurement hardware). Industrial design, electrical, mechanical, embedded firmware, manufacturing, supply chain, certification. You will partner with collaborators on manufacturing but you will own the engineering doctrine end-to-end. This is a role for someone who has shipped consumer or pro hardware at volume and wants to do it again with full scope.

- 01 Own the hardware roadmap across AquinTutor and Karate.support devices.
- 02 Hire VP Hardware, Director Industrial Design, Director Manufacturing.
- 03 Set the engineering doctrine for hardware reliability + cost.
- 04 Own the manufacturing partner strategy.
- 05 Defend hardware bets in board reviews.
- 06 Represent the hardware program publicly.
