01 — The role

Why this role exists at EduRankAI

Own the entire hardware arc — the custom devices behind AquinTutor (holographic display) and Karate.support (training/measurement hardware). Industrial design, electrical, mechanical, embedded firmware, manufacturing, supply chain, certification. You will partner with collaborators on manufacturing but you will own the engineering doctrine end-to-end. This is a role for someone who has shipped consumer or pro hardware at volume and wants to do it again with full scope.

  • 02 Hire VP Hardware, Director Industrial Design, Director Manufacturing.
  • 03 Set the engineering doctrine for hardware reliability + cost.
  • 04 Own the manufacturing partner strategy.
  • 05 Defend hardware bets in board reviews.
  • 06 Represent the hardware program publicly.

This role is based in Guwahati (on-site) / Hyderabad / Bangalore — hardware lab access required. We chose this on purpose — the work calls for proximity, collaboration, and presence. We will help with relocation where appropriate.
