Own complex problems end-to-end. Set technical direction. Mentor mid and junior teammates.

Own how the company knows whether its impact claims are true. Design evaluations, run baselines + endlines, defend the numbers against scrutiny. This is the technical conscience inside the impact org.

What you will own
- 01 Design RCT / quasi-experimental impact evaluations.
- 02 Run baseline + endline studies for every major programme.
- 03 Author the impact measurement framework; defend it.
- 04 Defend numbers against external audit + journalist scrutiny.
- 05 Train programme managers on data collection rigour.
- 06 Pair with the data engineering team on the impact dashboard.

Who thrives here
- → You have authored or led at least two published or audited impact evaluations.
- → You can defend an evaluation methodology in writing for 30 minutes.
- → You have killed an outcome claim because the evidence was thin.
- → You write methodology notes that statisticians approve.
- → You read evaluations carefully.

No counted hours. A five-day week with a four-hour overlap window so colleagues can reach you, and objectives agreed for the cycle.

Objectives agreed for the cycle, the quality of the judgement calls, and the people the work makes better. Not attendance.
Where this stands legally
Hours are not counted at this level. The statutory ceiling of 9 hours a day and 48 a week remains the limit the role is designed to fit inside: if the work cannot be done within a normal week, the scope is wrong, not the person.
