Ship consumer product features under Senior leadership. The role is for engineers who take consumer product seriously — who measure success by retention and trust, not by ship velocity. Grow into a Senior consumer product engineer over 18-24 months.

What you will own
- 01 Ship features end-to-end under Senior code review.
- 02 Pair daily with Senior engineers.
- 03 Write tests where they pay off.
- 04 Fix production bugs.
- 05 Participate in design review.
- 06 Pair with trust + safety on every feature that affects user-to-user interaction.

- → You have shipped at least one consumer product feature that has been live for 6+ months.
- → You write integration tests on purpose.

A scheduled week: five days, eight hours a day, with two full rest days and latitude over when within the day you work.

Objectives agreed at the start of each cycle. Hours recorded for compliance are never used as a performance score.
Where this stands legally
Within the 9-hour day and 48-hour week ceiling of the applicable state Shops and Establishments Act, with at least 24 consecutive hours of weekly rest and a break of at least 30 minutes after five hours of continuous work. Hours are recorded for statutory compliance only. Work beyond the scheduled week is agreed in advance and compensated with time off in lieu.
