Why this role exists at EduRankAI
Own the user-facing surface of edurankai.in — typography, motion, accessibility, performance. The bar is "ships features that feel inevitable", which means you will spend as much time deleting code as writing it. You will own the design system in code, set the frontend bar in code review, and mentor mid/junior frontend engineers. Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, and WCAG 2.2 AA are not optional.
02 — The work
What you will own
- 01 Ship features across the marketing site, applicant portal, and admin.
- 02 Own Lighthouse scores and Core Web Vitals as a sustained metric — not a one-off project.
- 03 Build the design system in code; treat it like the product it is.
- 04 Author the frontend component library and own its API.
- 05 Code review every frontend PR; be the bar.
- 06 Mentor mid and junior frontend engineers; bring at least one to Senior readiness over 18 months.
