Why this role exists at EduRankAI
AquinTutor is EduRankAI's flagship learner-facing product. The Chief Learning Officer owns whether the learning that happens inside it is real — measurable, transferable, generalisable — or just engagement theatre. You will set the pedagogical framework, defend the assessment design against shortcuts, hire the curriculum and learning-science org, and own the public claims we make about learner outcomes. The CLO is also the person who pushes back hardest when product or growth wants to dilute rigour for retention. You'll thrive here if: you have spent a career arguing for honesty in learning measurement, you can hold a research view and a product view in the same conversation, and you would rather ship one thing that works than ten that look like they do. You'll struggle here if: you measure learning by minutes engaged, not skill transferred.

What you will own
- 01 Own AquinTutor's pedagogical framework across every subject and every age band we serve.
- 02 Set the assessment design and the bar for what counts as evidence of learning.
- 03 Hire Director-level curriculum and learning-science leadership.
- 04 Defend AquinTutor's public outcome claims with audit-grade rigour.
- 05 Set the AI-tutor pedagogy doctrine in partnership with the AI platform team.
- 06 Represent AquinTutor publicly with educators, regulators, and the research community.

Who thrives here
- → You have led a curriculum or learning-science org for at least 5 years.
- → You have authored a public outcomes study that was scrutinised by independent researchers and survived.
- → You can defend a pedagogical doctrine against a hostile regulator for an hour.
- → You have shipped at least one learning product that produced measurable transfer to a real-world task.
- → You have an opinion about why most ed-tech learning claims are dishonest, and a position on what to do about it.
